The General Cemetery, Latin America's largest outdoor museum, houses a small city within its walls, complete with monuments, courtyards and corridors.
Over 2 million people are buried in its 86 hectares, including Chile's founding fathers, key public figures, important entrepreneurs, artists, scientists and great thinkers of our time. After a complete visit to the General Cemetery we will visit one of the most representative neighborhoods of the city, the picturesque Bellavista sits on the northern bank of the Mapocho river. This neighborhood has a diversity of attractions from its tradition bohemian roots mixed with commerce, restaurants and national craft markets.
